Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Rhiannon's Healing Touch Creates a Nurturing Space for Rejuvenation at Inner Sanctum campsite.

Welcome, www.wanderers, to the Wellness Area of Inner Sanctum. You are the first to share this magical world with us: we are about to experience our debut year as a private campsite for Glastonbury Festival. I'm delighted to be spotlighting one of our incredible services - available exclusively for Inner Sanctum guests. Please welcome the very talented Shiatsu Therapist, Rhiannon.

Rhiannon will be staying on site; offering treatments to guide you on an extraordinary wellness journey during your stay with us. Guests will be able to book a session directly with Rhiannon prior to arriving, or there is the option of signing up on the day subject to availabilty.

Picture this: you're surrounded by nature, enveloped in tranquillity, and Rhiannon is here to provide treatments that will leave you feeling as fresh as the day you arrived. But don't just take my word for it—let Rhiannon's words resonate with you. She believes that

Touch is the most instinctive form of healing there is. My love and joy for shiatsu comes from this simple and beautiful truth, that touch is an innate expectation of our human experience.

Shiatsu explores the body's relationship with the elements and chi, our body's energy current; drawing on the principles of the Chinese 5 element theory. In short, this is the belief that everything in the universe is made up of five fundamental elements which each correspond with specific organs, seasons, emotions, colours, tastes, and energies.

Wood

represents growth, vitality, and flexibility. It is associated with the liver and gallbladder organs and the spring season.

Fire

Earth

Metal

Water

The elements interact with and influence each other, exerting influence and maintaining a delicate balance. Imbalances among the elements - like staying out until 4am and walking further than you've ever walked before - can result in disruptions, affecting our physical, emotional, or energetic well-being.

Shiatsu therapy incorporates the principles of the Chinese 5 element theory to address imbalances and restore the natural flow of energy, supporting overall well-being.

As you can imagine, this is a very personal experience - tailored for your specific elemental activity. Rhiannon's understanding of the body as a whole - energetically, physically, and emotionally - allows her to attune to your body's strengths and weaknesses.

Rhiannon will use various techniques such as pressure with her hands, elbows, and knees, gentle stretching, fluid movements, and serene stillness.

At Inner Sanctum, we believe that wellness shouldn't be a fleeting indulgence; it's a way of being. We invite you to reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit through the ancient wisdom of Shiatsu during your stay at Inner Sanctum. Book in advance to secure your spot: you can plan according to set times. Keep an eye out for the booking link, which will be coming soon.

We have just 5 bell tents left available to book for Glastonbury 2023.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, enjoy exclusive services like Shiatsu therapy with Rhiannon, and create memories to last a lifetime.
